This workshop is a three-day class, where participants will learn the construction of this iconic traditional Chinese stool, and the wedged mortise and tenon joint - a simple yet effective (and one of the strongest) joints in furniture making.

Participants range from absolute beginners to more experienced woodworkers who want to improve their craftsmanship are welcomed.

Participants will also learn the more in-depth aspects of basic furniture construction and theory; and the use of hand tools and some machineries.
