Thursdays & Fridays - Evenings 7pm to 9.30pm
Saturdays & Sundays - 9.30am to 12pm, 1-3.30pm, 4.30-7pm
From a lump of raw clay to ceramic - experience the entire process of preparing your clay, shaping it on the wheel, trimming to perfection, and adding colour through glazing.
This 10-session class will touch on the basics of working on the wheel, making and shaping pieces including cups, mugs, bowls and small plates!
Expect to make between 8 - 10 pieces throughout the course.
Whether or not you have experience with pottery, this class will equip you with the basic knowledge of how to make your very own wares and kick start your journey into this traditional craft.
Basic Class Outline:
Class 1 - Throwing (cylinders)
Class 2 - Throwing (cylinders & slightly rounded bottoms)
Class 3 - Trimming
Class 4 -
Glazing
Class 5 - Throwing (bowled forms)
Class 6 - Throwing (bowled forms + texture decorations with tools)
Class 7 - Trimming
Class 8 - Throwing (flatter bowls + plates)
Class 9 - Trimming
Class 10 - Glazing
Our workshops are beginner-friendly so all can join us!
Duration: 2.5 hours per session
(once every week for 10 weeks, or you may choose to come for more than 1 session per week)
Additional Charges: Tools will be provided but option to purchase own tool set at $15 per set. Do enquire beforehand on availability of stocks!

Things to take note of:
Prep yourself before your class by keeping nails trimmed and short, have a hair tie (for those with long hair) and wear something comfy that you wouldn't mind getting a little dirty!
