Name of Participants:
Workshop: Ken Lu's Big Pots Masterclass
For centuries, clay makers have strived to create symmetrical forms using banding wheels and, later, wheel-throwing machines. Throwing larger pieces has always been a challenge and a goal for advanced potters. In this masterclass, participants will not only learn various techniques for constructing large vessels — specifically aiming to build a piece at least 30cm in height — but will also explore the aesthetics of form from both Eastern and Western perspectives. This combination of technical skill and design insight will enhance your ability to craft impressive, well-balanced pottery.
