Our schedules are flexible, simply slot yourself into the days & timings below.

Studio Hours:

Thursdays & Fridays - Evening 7pm to 9.30pm

Saturdays & Sundays - Morning 10am to 1pm, Afternoon 3pm to 6pm

Class Duration: 2Hours

Class Size: 1 to 6 persons

Kurinuki is a method of handbuilding.
From a block of clay, we will be carving the exterior form and hollowing out the interior. This is a more sculptural way of working with clay but translates beautifully to functional ware.

Kurinuki is an instinctual way of working with clay. Rather than symmetry and precision, we emphasise on allowing the form to evolve and reveal themselves during the making process.

This is a two hour workshop and we will be focusing on making a cup in the first hour of the class and a bowl in the second hour. Once done with our pieces, we will use a clay that is mixed into a thin slur to brush over them. Our studio will then proceed to fire and glaze them in a nice transparent coat to keep them safe for contact with food and drinks.

Our workshops are beginner-friendly so all can join us!
