This 10-session handbuilding course allows students to work more slowly and deeply, developing confidence in building functional forms by hand.

With more time, students are encouraged to explore how structure, surface, and proportion affect both use and experience. The course supports repetition, refinement, and thoughtful decision-making, resulting in wares that feel grounded, tactile, and meant for daily life.

The course focuses on creating functional tableware while developing an understanding of structure, balance, and surface. Subtle variations and marks of the hand are embraced, giving each piece a sense of warmth and individuality.

Suitable for beginners seeking a slower pace, as well as those continuing from the 5-session Handbuilding Course.
